A few months ago, I spotted a competition online to take part in the World’s first permanent public LomoWall.
“Lomography is a global community whose strong passion is creative and experimental analogue film photography.”
Lomography Manchester asked people to submit their photos online loosely based around the theme of the Manchester Ship Canal. With only a week until the deadline I decided to take advantage of the lovely weather we had at the end of May and get on it. Me and my sis went to Castlefield armed with cameras and film. Today I found out that our pic/s WILL be included on the wall to be unveiled on the 26th July on Tariff Street! The wall will be around 30-metre long and 3-metre high, can’t wait to see it.
